UNC School of Government ⯈ Workshop

This course, which I was invited to develop, offers valuable insights and practical tools for local government staff and officials seeking to build stronger relationships with their communities. Participants explore collaborative approaches to foster trust, improve communication, and create a greater sense of shared purpose.

I was invited to develop this course for the UNC School of Government Center for Public Leadership and Governance based on the significant increase in public participation we were able to achieve in a coastal NC community during their comprehensive planning process. I’ve been lucky to have colleagues Terry Willie-Surratt, Kimalee Dickerson, and Sylvia Burgess to deliver this course alongside me. One interesting read from the course:
